The hotel staff was extremely kind and friendly. Breakfast was great. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I had a room at the end of the hall, which was very calm. I can absolutely recommend staying here. It's in the middle of the city.

Situated in Thessaloniki, 1.7 km from Aristotelous Square, ONOMA Hotel features accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. The hotel design is elegant, unique and beautiful. Staff is very welcoming and professional. Beds are supercomfortable and the rooms are spacious. Breakfast is way above most that you ever had in a hotel. Second time we booked we received welcoming cookies as well. The bar - restaurant on top is also quite nice (we enjoyed having a beer under an olive tree at floor 8). City center is about 20 minutes walk and sea side even closer.

Boasting a bar, Noa Hotel is situated in the centre of Thessaloniki, 600 metres from Aristotelous Square. Super friendly and helpfull staff, I can only confirm what other travellers have commented for individual staff. I also got a wonderful upgrade - thank you for this again. Room very nice size with modern decor I liked very much. And great firm bed, all looked new. The hotel is next to the harbour with restaurants and places to sit for a great sundowner and view over the sea; on the other side to the hotel you find several streets with loads of small tavernas and restaurants for smaller to bigger money, so no need to walk for long to have a decent dinner. Only minutes walk away from the old city - and shopping streets and more restaurants even - for me it was well located, even if my meetings took place 40 min walk away. The hotel is located on a busy street but with good isolated windows and this street leads you in some minutes walk to a very nice route along the coast towards the white tower. Finally, also to mention you did not hear any noise from adjoining rooms and no discussion to get an invoice at check out like in so many other hotels, unfortunately, but important for me as a business traveller. So, I will try to stay there again.

Very genuine place.
Very genuine place. They have a baptistry that needs to be seen. Philipoi is an ancient Macedonian city, gobsmacking in dimentions. Mud bath - an absolute must! Only 6 euro ( or less, I may have forgotten the exact price) and you have a check by a doctor and about half an hout to an hour in the healing squidgy mud. The pool is gender separated, locals go there for health, beauty and social, so try to update your Greek before hand:). Not for small kids. Take all jewels off, otherwise they will become dark with the sulphur. Kavala beach abou 15min drive away. Though after the mud, the sea wate is not recommended.

Use Thessaloniki as a base for daily trip to Pella, Vergina, Fillipoi...and all those treasures of Central Macedonia

Orma is a beautiful little village nestled at the foothills of the mountains that border the Republic of Macedonia and Greece. It is located only 10 minutes drive from Loutra Pozar hot springs and about 30 minutes drive from the beautiful mountain city of Edessa. While very small and quiet, Orma can draw crowds at afternoon and evening meal times as many people come to eat at the amazing tavern, Dionysos (located under a massive sycamore tree next to a clear river in the center of the village). While Dionysos is one of only a few dining options in Orma, it certainly makes up for the lack of variety with it's amazing food! Orma seems to have only one small supermarket, so you will probably need to go the the neighboring city of Aridea (a 5-10 minute drive) if you need something more than a basic item. Orma also has a cafe and a gyro shop.

The Macedonia region of Greece is wonderful - a hidden gem really. We visited Kavala, Xanthi, the Nestos river region with it's canoeing and zip lines adventures, Vergina ancient site ( a masterpiece), Naousa, Edessa, Pozar spa, Kastoria and Nymfaio (UNESCO site). Unbeleivable scenery, people and food.

The town and Macedonia exceeded our modest expectations. Every site, in and out of town, is well maintained. Tourists are advised to include visits to Pela, Vergina, Athos and Meteora. The certified tourist guides are multilingual and knowledgeable. Good restaurants everywhere.

Great city as a hub for the Macedonian and Halkidiki exploration. Friendly people as in Greece a lot of attractions. Plenty of hotels on different choices. Great long embankment with all night people move. As for me more pleasant and comfortable in comparison with Athens. Long wide streets in the center. Excellent Greek cuisine. You can explore the center walking but to go around you definitely need a car nor public transport

Very lively city, lots of young people who keep the bars, cafes and restaurants busy. 2 good museums, many other old buildings and wonderful Byzantine churches. It was quite clean and well looked after but the palace site was shut and there is an awful lot of traffic. A good centre for going to other places in Macedonia as distances aren't great.

Vergina is a quite village of utmost historical value. The tombs of the ancient kings of Macedonia of Greece especially the Tomb of king Phillip, father of Alexander the Great, is awe inspiring. You look at a sight as seen by Alexander the Great as he buried his beloved father. The exhibits are priceless.

Some gests didn't find it tasteful, but for me, it was good (considering the price).

Everything was splendid. I would describe it by far our best vacation ever. This is definitely an accomodation suitable for families with kids. Their garden is just enormous, children can be left unattended, everything feels safe, they have a playground for kids, it was truly amazing. Our daughter was just one and a half when we booked this accomodation and we could still enjoy a few moments of peace while she was playing on her own or with our dog in the garden. Do I need to say they are also pet friendly and they have the most adorable mascot, a beagle called Iris? Just lovely!The garden leads directly into the beach, they have both stairs and a ramp for wheelchairs. You can also find sunbeds in the garden that you can take to the beach which is clean and cozy, not crowded at all.The host is the most gracious and cleaning is definitely 10/10. We had to fight the cleaning ladies so they would not clean and change all the sheets everyday.

I spent an unforgettable stay at Tosca Beach Hotel, between September 11-16. Mr. George Kokotaris was extremely kind, as were the other employees. We didn't miss anything and everything was to our liking. I had everything I needed in the rooms, with a superb view, it was clean every day, very kind ladies took care of this aspect and were always interested in our opinion and what we wanted. The restaurant has many kinds of food, which were very tasty, you have a lot to choose from, depending on your preferences. We ate something different every day, at every meal. The wonderful beach, there were sunbeds at your discretion and the people at the beach bar were extremely attentive, kind, friendly and always joking to make us feel good. The children had a great time and we are very happy that we chose this location. We wish from the bottom of our hearts to come back and thank all the staff for their involvement and attention!

Lovely very green hotel in a stunning location with incredible sea in one of the best bays on the whole island. Excellent comfortable rooms, very friendly staff, good cuisine, deer and peacocks on site. All this creates an unforgettable experience and the desire to return to this beautiful hotel again.

We stayed in the caravan 12. I liked the location, cleanness, equipped with everything you need, you don' t have to bring anything except for towels and bathing suit and a jumper in September. It is a quiet & peaceful place, beautiful beach, good staff, parking, small kitchen outside, there is a well equipped store, restaurants 2 or 3, clean toilets on every corner, hot shower, beach shower. There are also some trees on the beach, under which you could hide from the sun. I would stay there forever.🙂

Really good breakfast! The room was cleaned every day. The private pool was great and was cleaned up every morning. The restaurant was okay. The food was tasty and fairly priced considering the location and season. Very friendly staff.
